Looks like somebody picked the wrong day to quit smoking.
The Los Angeles Times reports: "A sheriff's SWAT team ended a 10-hour bank siege early today by freeing the final hostage when the gunman sent her to the front door to retrieve a pack of cigarettes."
There's nothing like a nicotine fit to mess up a good hostage-taking.
