Maybe I'm just cranky today, but I think Susan Sontag and her publisher, Farrar Straus & Giroux, have some nerve to charge $20 for her new book, Regarding the Pain of Others.
It's all of 131 pages.
That's 15 cents a page.
"Pain" is definitely the word.
