Philadelphia ranks 12th among 40 large U.S. metropolitan areas in a Forbes "study" of the Best Cities for Singles. Forbes says the cities were "judged . . . on nightlife, culture, job growth, number of other singles, cost of living alone, online dating and coolness." And in those categories, Philadelphia scored 21, 7, 38, 8, 17, 17, and 15 points, respectively. I have no idea what that means either.
